APRIL 20, 2017     LTT OPEN HOUSE

The Students in ANTH/CLAS 430/530 Ancient Greek Technology present their end of the semester projects. Technologies of Writing, Food Preparation, Wine Driniking, Grain Storage, and Vase-Painting.

FALL 2016 FRIENDS OF ANTHROPOLOGY LTT OPEN HOUSE

LTT once again hosted an open house in conjunction with the Fall 2016 Friends of Anthropology Celebration. LTT Ceramics Resident Potter Cynthia Jones and LTT intern Luke Kaiser shared with the visitors the different ceramics projects taking place in the LTT. During the open house, we were honored to interact with Dr. Entisar "Vivi" Sabbagh, recipient of the 2016 Ray Thompson Award.

Dr. Entisar Sabbagh and her husband Mr. Adib Sabbagh are the sponsors of the Sabbagh Lectures at the School of Anthropology.

APRIL 1, 2015  LTT OPEN HOUSE FOR ANTHRO CENTENNIAL ANNIVERSARY

The LTT is proud to host the Friends of Anthropology on April 1, as we start the celebrations for the  Centennial of Anthropology at the UA. Students from the LTT will present their work, including a cluster on the theme of "Technologies of the Aegean," a set of experimental replicas of iconic artifacts from the prehistoric periods in the Mediterrenean.
